Time Flies

G'day scrappy friends!  I hope your weekend has been a good one as it nears to an end, and happy Sunday to you!

Today I have a new layout for Scrap and Music.  The song for this challenge is Someone Like You by Adele.  Ohh, how I love this song!  The song lyric within the music I chose for my title is Time Flies and boy is it ever flying by!

Here is my take

This is my son, my baby, at his kindergarten graduation and at his high school graduation.  That's 12 years gone by in an instant!  Wow, it really did just fly by!

For this layout I used an older kit of mine from Little Red Scrapbook and I don't remember the exact month but it is from 2013.  The paper collection is Wonderful Day by Fancy Pants, along with most of the embellishments as well.  I scattered a few wood grain stars by Studio Calico and added some wooden chevrons too.  You can never go wrong with wooden accents.  I'd have to say they are favorite right now.  At the bottom of the page I added a solid strip of cardstock with a line of journaling, which I created from my Olympia typewriter, which accommodates 12x12 paper.

Here are some close ups for better viewing

I really had a lot of fun creating this page.  There are so many possibilities with it and a great song to scrap with as well.  I hope you can join in with us!  I look forward to seeing your creations.
Here is the sketch to follow and please click here for full challenge details
Thanks for much for stopping by and happy scrapping to you!

  1. This is so much fun! Yes, time flies so quickly, doesn't it? I love your now and then photos and your amazing take on the sketch! My "baby" is a sophomore in college!!!! WAHW!!!!!

  2. Tracy, I love your layout! Great take on the sketch and use of this fun collection. I can't believe you have a child who graduated from HS - I would have never guessed that. Yes, time does fly. The kids change a lot more and faster than we do.

  3. Oh I love this layout and all of the colors! Super fun and adorable! And love the pics! Oh my! Look at the little 1999 pic- so cute! :)
