Hello crafty friends!
I'm so excited to share with you today my first ever picture tutorial!
I am a Guest Designer for My Creative Scrapbook this month and I'd like
to share with you on how to create the "chalk popping" technique and then make
it into an embellishment. I had the pleasure of creating this embellishment from the camera acrylic stamp in the June Main Kit.
First you'll need to gather your supplies:
decorating chalks - any kind will do
VersaMark ink pad
acrylic stamp - any type stamp will work
acrylic stamp block - if needed
white cardstock
Q-tip
Step 1
ink your mounted stamp with VersaMark ink.
Step 2
stamp the image onto the white cardstock.
Step 3
brush chalk with the Q-tip over the VersaMark ink,
making the image pop.
Step 4
cut the chalked image from the cardstock, leaving as
much of a border as you'd like.
Step 5
DONE! Just add to your layout!
Easy peasy, right!? And so cute!
I do hope that you give this technique a try and put those
decorating chalks to work.
To those considering a monthly kit club, please check out My Creative Scrapbook! Here's a look at the June Main Kit
Thanks for stopping by and giving me your time.
Enjoy the
day and happy scrapping to you!
