Grammie & Molly - Awesome

Hello scrappy friends!

Today I have my DT layout for Lets Get Sketchy

and here is this weeks sketch to follow, June #2

As you can see its a fun sketch!  So many possibilities with this one.  If you get a chance, give it a try and be sure to link it up by the end of the month for a chance to win some goodies.

These are a few of the *selfie" photos I took of me and our granddaughter, Molly.  We were in the back seat together so why not take advantage, right!?  It was alot of fun even though she's not showing it.

For this layout I used Note To Self by Echo Park.  I've had this collection just sitting on my desk waiting to be used so I'm finally getting to it.  Love the colors!

For the background I spritzed plain white cardstock with cordinating colors and added a few drops of black ink as well.

After adding a few Luxe chipboard stars by Pink Paislee throughout the layout, I traced the outer edges with black marker to give them a doodled look.

For the title I wasnt happy with the plain color of the wooden accent pieces so I covered them with black dabber paint to better match my page.  I've got to say, I'm so addicted to those wooden accent pieces!  They are so hot right now too.

Well, that is it for today.  I hope I've helped out in some way to inspire you.  Thanks so much for stopping by!  Enjoy the day :)
