Good morning! Happy Monday to you!
I have here my DT layout from Lets Get Sketchy for this week...
These are my adult children and can you believe he still calls her "Sissy" I find it special that he still does this and I love hearing it!
I like how my layout turned out! The flower is ribbon just shaped and stapled together with an embellishment in the center, to hide the staples, and the leftover tail is twisted and secured down. So easy and so darn cute!
This is LGS Nov week 1 sketch to follow...
I hope you find time to participate with this months sketches at Lets Get Sketchy! Remember, you have the full month to complete the weekly sketches and to be eligible for the monthly prize... AND also, starting this month you can apply for becoming a guest designer! How fun is that!! All you have to do is add "GDT" next to your name when uploading your layout and at the end of the month a random drawing will take place to all layouts interested.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

I adore your flower embellishment! Awesome job! The layout is gorgeous & what a sweet story!
ReplyDeleteLove how you did your flowers with the paint splatters! Your elements are fabulous! I also love the story behind the layout. My son still calls his sister "sis"..has for the last 20 years, I don't think he has ever used her name, lol. It's great to see the relationship our children build over the years.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! Love the paint artistically splattered on your page and the flower embellishments.
