Happy November!

Today we've got a new challenge up at Challenge YOUrself.  It's time to get inspired by our "Home for the Holidays" mood board.  You can choose any holiday and I decided to go with a Christmas theme.

And here is the mood board to follow.

What inspires you about this mood board?  For me it is the title "Home for the Holidays" The Christmas holiday is what always brings our tribe home.  A day, in particular, our family Christmas photo day is a must.  It's the absolute best day.  So much family fun!!

For this layout I used Cozy Christmas by My Mind's Eye.  It's an older collection but such a classic and one of my favorites.  I just love the classic Christmas colors with that touch of teal.

Celebrate You

 Hello friends and happy October!

With it being a new month a new challenge is up and waiting for you at Challenge YOUrself.  This month we've got a fall color palette.  You know, those warm earthy colors that we all love.  Fall is not my favorite time of year, however, it is my favorite color.  Here is mine to share...

Another day, another birthday.  I do love to celebrate and I will never outgrow that.  I can always count on my husband to join in on the fun.

For this layout I used a good portion of my stashed product.  I've had those file cards for years and I finally made myself use them.  I'm glad I did because I'm very happy with the turnout.

Everyday Bliss

 Hello, hello friends!  

It's a new month so do you know what that means?  A new challenge has been released at Challenge YOUrself and is waiting for you!  This month is about being thankful.  What are you thankful for?  Me, you ask?  COFFEE!!

Mmm... that first sip of coffee in the morning is so good for my soul!  I actually can't get to the coffee pot fast enough when waking up. I know all of you coffee lovers can relate.

For this layout I used a variety of stashed product.  Paper strip tabs, fussy cut flowers, tags, frame, wood title, sticker alpha and misc embellies.  I've got an over abundance of stash that needs used up.

WKND Vacation

Hello friends!  Happy August to you!

Today we are kicking off the new month with a fun challenge at Challenge YOUrself.  It's all about going on vacation.  Who doesn't love to vacation?  We've all got tons of vacay pictures to show off, right?  I know I sure do and here is my take to get you started!

Every year my brothers and I go on a sibling vacation.  In particular, the year 2017 was so fun!  We all enjoyed a long weekend in Key West.  My journaling couldn't have summed it up any better... "full of sun, fun, love, laughter and lots of adventure!"

Live in the Moment

Hello and happy Tuesday to you!

It's a new month so that means we have a new challenge to share at Challenge YOUrself.  This month we have a sketch to follow from Page Drafts.  

I absolutely love following sketches.  It take a lot of the work away and with this one there are a ton of possibilities!  Here is my take for some inspiration...

This is my oldest granddaughter and she is the most adventurous girl ever!!  I just love that about her.  She will try anything.  Every year before school starts we have a "Grammie and Molly day".  This one was spent in Chicago with a full day of sheer fun!!

For this layout I used a mixture of summery papers and embellishments.  Perfect for our summer sunny day in Chicago.

Dream Big

Hello and happy June to you!

Today I'm sharing my current layout for Challenge YOUrself.  

This months theme is Summer Dream and here is my take...

This little guy is our newest grandson, born in August 2019.  I just cant get enough of him.  I love this age when they let you snuggle them and I could seriously do this all day, everyday!

I went in a different direction with this one.  Leaning more into the dream side as opposed to the summer side.  However, my grandson was born in the summer so it all balances out, right?  That's what I love about challenges, the possibilities are endless.  It's all in the eye of the beholder on your take.

Love You More

Hello friends!
Happy May to you.  I hope you are all still coping and staying healthy.  Hang in there!  I think an end is in sight for normalcy.

With Mother's Day just around the corner we've got the perfect challenge this month at Challenge YOUrself.  It's all about MOM!  Interpret this any way you like just make sure to include you into the photo.

Here's my take...

These two happy faces are my babies!  I am so proud to be their Mom and I love showing them off any chance I get.  The title "Love you more" is what we share with each other.  We have for years. It's just our quote.
