No, it's not the Christmas season but by the looks of my layout it is. Ok, so I'm behind on my holiday scrapping but I bet I'm not the only one. These photos are just too cute not to scrap, no matter the time of year.
As I was scrolling through Scrapbook Challenges for some inspiration I stumbled upon sketch 477 and it really intrigued me so I decided to join in. As I was searching my photos to fit the sketch I came across these and and it just blossomed from there. It all came together so nicely and I'm very happy with my turnout. Here are a couple of close ups followed by the sketch.
What do you think? Your comments are always appreciated and welcome! Thanks so much for stopping by and happy scrapping to you!

My Happy Life
I've got a new layout to share today.
It's been forever since I've just scrapped for me so I decided to visit an old stopping ground of mine, Stuck?! Sketches and join in with a current sketch challenge. This is my take on their April 1st challenge.
and here is the sketch
I followed the sketch pretty closely, only changing the elements somewhat. There are so many possibilities with this one, that's why it caught my attention. Here are a couple of closeups as well.
This is my growing family! The entire clan was able to make it over for Easter and that is one task that is getting harder and harder to accomplish nowadays. I am so blessed and these beautiful faces are my happy life!
Thanks so much for stopping by and your thoughts are always welcome!
Happy scrapping to you!

This One's For The Girls
Good morning!
Today I have a new layout to share with you for Challenge YOUrself. This month it's about music and who doesn't love music? It really plays an important part in my life and I truly couldn't live without it.
For this challenge you are asked to incorporate the song lyrics of This One's For The Girls by Martina McBride. How fun is that? I think we can all relate to this song in one way or another. Feel free to use the lyrics in any way you'd like but remember to use a photo with YOU in it! Here's mine to share.
This was such a fun weekend with my scrappy girls for a scrapbook weekend retreat that I had won. I felt this was the perfect choice for this challenge. My title is the title of the song and my journaling are some song lyrics that I felt were very fitting.
For this layout I used my March kit from Gossamer Blue. I also incorporated some stamping in the background to kill some of the white space and because I don't stamp enough. I've got tons of stamps and I really need to do this more often! Here are a few closeups...
Now it's your turn! Please check out Challenge YOUrself for full challenge rules and for tons of inspiration. And for song lyrics click here. I really look forward to seeing what you create. Now go have some fun with it! Be sure to link up with us by May 4 for a chance to win some goodies!
Thanks so much for the visit and happy scrapping to you!

Our Newest Addition
G'morning friends and welcome! Happy March to you! Just hearing people say March is like music to my ears, meaning warmer weather is quickly approaching! Even thought it's been a very mild winter for us I'm so ready to soak up the sunshine and to get outside to play.
Today I have a new layout to share with you for Challenge YOUrself. This month it's all about Chevrons and I'm sure we all have tons of chevron product to work with! Here is mine.
Aww, just look at our sweet Pearl! We adopted her at the end of October last fall. She is such a happy girl and so much fun to have around. I have to say she has added a little spunk in Rex's step as well.
For this layout I used a mixture of products, all from my stash piles. The first thing I did was search for a chevron paper and went from there, just picking out papers and embellishments to match. Normally I work by gathering product to match my photos but this time I worked by matching my papers first. It was a different process for me but I really like how it turned out. I couldn't be happier with the results. Here are a few close ups for better details.
Now it's your turn! I know you've got tons of chevron papers! So get them out and start making it work. Be sure to link up with us by April 4 for your chance to win some goodies too. Give Challenge YOUrself a visit now for full challenge rules and for tons of inspiration!
Thanks for stopping by and as always, happy scrapping to you!

OLW Order
Hello friends and happy February! Wow, I can not believe how fast the new year is moving along already. It's been such a mild winter for us so far and I think that is making time move along even faster.
I have a new layout to share with you today for Challenge YOUrself. The challenge this month is to choose an inspirational word... a word to focus on, mediate on and reflect upon as you go about your daily life. Also known as "One Little Word" introduced by Ali Edwards in 2007.
My chosen word is "Order" short for organize! I so need this is my life this year and I will do everything in my power to follow through.
From the outside I look so put together, but what lurks behind closets doors and unopened drawers is another story. As for my scrap room. YIKES! It's in desperate need of order! I'm working on it. Baby steps, right?
Product used in my layout is a huge mixture from Studio Calico, Amy Tangerine and Carta Bella, just to name a few. I've been sorting and purging for this last week to get ready for a scrappy sale. It's unbelievable what you find in the process, items I never knew I had!
Now it's your turn! Choose a word that you'd like to live by for the rest of this year and link up with us by March 4 for your chance to win! And don't forget to include YOU in the photo. Give us a visit at Challenge YOUrself for full challenge rules and for tons of inspiration. You'll be surprised at how powerful One Little Word can be.
Thanks for much for stopping by! And as always, happy scrapping to you!

Live Simply, Laugh Lots...
Happy New Year! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and a safe New Year! May 2016 be full of love, good health and all things happy! :)
With the holidays behind us and the kids back in school why not take some time out for you and join in with us at Challenge YOUrself. This month we're easing you into the new year with an "Anything Goes" challenge! That's right, you can create anything you'd like but it must include YOU in the photo.
Here is mine to share.
This selfie of my love and I was taken at the Lake of the Clouds in U.P. Michigan. It is such a beautiful place.
I created this layout with my October 2014 Gossamer Blue scrapbook kit. I used a mixture of paper and product by Simple Stories and My Minds Eye. For the hanging pendents I used the My Story chipboard buttons by MME. To create the look just feed twine through the button holes and glue down the hanging trail, folding over the top and then tape down the tails on backside. Topping it off with a matching bow.
Be sure to visit Challenge YOUrself for more inspiring layouts from this months challenge and I hope that you join in us! I'm so excited to see what you come up with. You have until February 4 to link up!
I am also sharing my layout with Rochelle Spears January This Or That challenge. I'm using twine.

Baby Sweetness
Hello, hello and happy Monday to you! I have to say, I have always loved Mondays. It's the day where the house is completely empty and I can catch up around here after a busy weekend. And this weekend was a crazy one!
Today I have a layout to share with you for Challenge YOUrself. This month we have a sketch to follow and we also want you to include your favorite family photo AND as always, YOU must be in the photo. Here is mine for inspiration.
This photo is so precious to me! This past September my baby had a baby and I am still trying to absorb this. My heart is so full of love for this new baby boy and I am so happy for her. I just cant believe how fast the circle of life comes back around.
For this layout I used an older collection but it's one of my favorites, Sketchbook by Amy Tangerine. I just love the bold colors. Here are a few closeups for better detail.
I sure hope I've inspired you in some way to join in with us at Challenge YOUrself. There are so many fun possibilities with this sketch so I do hope you'll share your creation and link up with us by January 5. For lots more inspiration give us a visit!
Ok, do your sketch analyzing and get moving! I really look forward to seeing what you create for us. Thanks so much for stopping by and happy scrapping to you!
