Never Forget This

 Happy August!

Oh my goodness, where is the summer going?  It needs to slow down because I am not ready for the cooler months.

This month at Challenge YOUrself our challenge is about tough times.  How do you handle them?  This really gives you the opportunity to think about it and dig deep.  Here is mine to inspire you.

Losing my mom unexpectedly was the hardest thing I have ever encountered.  It's been years but it's something you never get over, you just learn to live with it.  

For this layout I used bits and pieces of my stash.  I've had this diecut background piece forever.  With it being flowers it was the perfect match.  I really love how it all came together.

 Hello Friends and happy belated July!

Yep, I'm a bit late but still wanted to share.

It's a new month meaning we have a new challenge for you at Challenge YOUrself. This one is all about family.  We want you create a layout about your family.  Here is mine for inspiration.

Mother's Day!  I absolutely love it and this is why!

For this layout I used my Hip Kit scrapbook kit.  The colors, prints and accents were a perfect fit.
